The living out of our Charism and Spirituality gives us characteristic traits that define the PROFILE OF A MISSIONARY:
A woman strongly marked by the experience of the love of the Heart of Christ and an unconditional surrender to Him and His Mission.
A woman of Prayer and Discernment, guided by the Spirit.
Prayer will give us a contemplative attitude which ought to be prolonged into action, discovering God in all things.
A woman rooted in confidence and abandonment to Him.
All our missionary activity is inspired and sustained by our CONFIDENCE in the Heart of Christ.
A woman signs of universal fraternity.
The Universal Fraternity enriches us. In addition, it announces and testifies to the Universal Fraternity in which we are all sisters of different cultures and nationalities.
A woman available to be sent.
To be a missionary “Ad Gentes”, includes a readiness to go to any country where the Missionary Society is present.
A woman with love and predilection for the poorest.
In a contemplative attitude we shall discover in the poor the same traits of Jesus, God become poor and from them, as Christ did we shall announce the Good News to all men.
A woman capable of incarnating herself in other cultures.
Incarnation is the process which leads to the inculturation of the message.
A woman committed to the liberation of the whole person.
This option takes us to places and to groups and peoples where, in solidarity and evangelical love, we feel impelled to work for human development and in defense of justice.
